I worked as a Neurology Specialist at Karabük Safranbolu State Hospital between 1995-2011.

 

I completed my military service as a Specialist Physician Lieutenant at İskenderun Naval Hospital between 1997-1999.

 

I resigned from my public service between 2012-2013 and worked at Karabük Private Hayat Medical Center.

 

In 2013, I started as an Assistant Professor as the founding head of Karabük University Faculty of Medicine Neurology Clinic and voluntarily retired from public service in 2017.

 

Between 2013-2017, I pioneered the establishment of Karabük Alzheimer Association and founded the association and Karabük Alzheimer Association Music Therapy Community. I worked as a physician musician in scientific music therapy studies in Safranbolu's historical mansions and Karabük Nursing Home for 4 years.

 

I have received positive results from the music therapy studies we have conducted on many patients with dementia, Alzheimer's dementia and many relatives with depression. I have published scientific articles.

 

I have given speeches and presentations about music therapy at the cognitive neuroscience meetings held at Ümraniye (Istanbul) E.A.H. and Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine. I presented the scientific music therapy study we conducted at the Karabük Nursing Home at the music therapy symposium held in Kütahya in 2016.

 

In 2011, I was invited to the scientific board (consisting of 11 academicians) established to form the directorate of the music therapy method, which is accepted as one of the complementary medicine methods of the Ministry of Health.

 

While working at Private Gözde Hospital in Kuşadası, Aydın between 2017-2019, I held regular meetings and presentations on dementia, psychology of happiness, and music therapy. Again, in 2019, I held presentations on music therapy and dementia at the Private Island Nursing Home in Güzelçamlı town of Kuşadası for 4 months.

 

Between 2019-2020, I worked at Antalya/Manavgat Private Life Medical Center.

 

Between 2020-2022, I worked at Karabük Private Medikar Hospital.

 

Until April 2022-2023, I worked at Mardin/Kızıltepe Private İpekyolu Hospital.

 

Currently, I have been working as a Neurology Specialist at Afyonkarahisar Private Fair Hospital since April 2023.

 

I am married and have 3 children.
